A fairy tale intimate wedding in the forest at Skypark | Gabrielle and Jason

Coming from Texas, Gabrielle and Jason wanted an intimate wedding in the forest. At our initial meeting, Gabrielle specifically asked if I could bring my rowboat on her wedding day. It is not an easy task because the ponds at Skypark are steep and the rowboat isn’t light enough to be carried down steep hills. However, I told her we would give it a try. The wedding was originally planned for April 3rd of 2020, but the pandemic made its way to the USA and we were in a lockdown. We had to postpone the wedding until August 14th.

We are still dealing with the pandemic at the time of this writing, and the wedding went on with social distancing and precautions for people who are not within the same household. With the help of a few strong friends, we were also able to bring the rowboat down the steep hill for photos, and then brought it back up. It was my first time ever having my rowboat at Skypark for a wedding. I hope I can do this regularly in the future.
