San Diego Sunset Cliffs Engagement Photography Session | Samantha and Jake

Samantha and Jake’s fairy tale wedding will be at San Moritz Lodge in Crestline, Southern California.  The ceremony site is right by the shore of the beautiful Lake Gregory, where Samantha’s grandpa visited the lake numerous times for fishing.  It’s a special place for  her and her family.

For Samantha and Jake’s engagement photography session, she suggested Sunset Cliffs in San Diego after our first choice fell through.  Due to both of their work schedule, we had to schedule the engagement session on a Saturday.  The beach and the weekends usually bring out the crowd, but it  turned out better than expected.   We didn’t have any problem finding parking or problem with the location being crowded.

Samantha and Jake are high school sweethearts.  They’ve been together since teenagers and you can tell that they are very comfortable with each other.  I didn’t have to pose either one much because everything is so natural with them.   On top of that, the weather God was looking over us because it didn’t rain nor was it cold even in January.

Below are some of my favorite pictures from Samantha and Jake’s engagement photography session at Sunset Cliffs in San Diego.
