Big Bear Mountain Engagement Photography Session | Brandi and Chris

Brandi and Chris are getting married this year at Pine Rose in Lake Arrowhead.  They wanted to keep the theme of their wedding (woodsy, laid back, intimate) so an engagement photography session in Big Bear seems fitting.  The timing couldn’t have been better with plenty of snow left from a recent storm, thanks to to El Nino.  It wasn’t cold at all even with all the snow around us.  Brandi and Chris were in short sleeve t-shirts for part of the shoot.  However, it got cold really quick as soon as the sun goes down.

It was so much fun working with my couple, both are a bit shy at first but who wouldn’t be?  This is why I love engagement sessions.  It gives me a chance to get to know my couples before the wedding.  Both Brandi and Chris felt more and more comfortable as the day progressed and we had so much fun by the end of the day.

I love photographing engagement sessions in Big Bear mountain.  Not only is the area beautiful, I happen to have a small cabin in the area so I can make it a weekend getaway.  I also know the Big Bear mountain area very well, so it makes things easy for everyone.  We were able to get to all the secluded areas, away from the crowd.  Below are some of my favorite photos from my engagement photography session in Big Bear with Brandi and Chris.  I can’t wait for their wedding at Pine Rose Cabin!
