Great time to be a photographer
Both Nikon and Canon introduced their new professional grade cameras, Nikon D4 and D800, Canon 1Dx and 5D Mark 3. Any of these cameras will be a great tool in your camera bag, but I have my heart set on the D800 with its massive 36.3 megapixel sensor that can produce great detailed images even at 6400 ISO.
